- Who have abnormal vaginal bleeding
- Having chronic anovulation
- Suspected uterine cancer
- During female infertility diagnosis and treatment
There are number of biopsy instruments used by the professionals. Some of the commonly used instruments are- Novak curette, Pipelle and Tru test.
The procedure is considered to be safe and fewer risks are involved. There can be pelvic pain or cramps for a shorter period. It is natural that the patient may experience bleeding after the procedure is complete. Infection and uterine perforation can be there in certain rare cases.
