Certain women may experience number of pregnancy losses. The term ‘bad obstetric history’ is used to refer those who face obstetric issues due to the past history of number of pregnancy losses. This can be due to various factors such as:

  • Genetic Factors
  • Anatomical Factors- Can be either congenital or acquired
  • Infections
  • Idiopathic
  • Rh Isoimmunization
  • Environmental factors
  • Immunological factors

Women with bad obstetric history may have to undergo physical and medical examinations before trying to get pregnant. This problem can only be treated by finding the real cause.
