Laparoscopic Tubal Ligation is a permanent and surgical contraceptive method. This surgery is performed at the time of delivery. The whole procedure is performed under a general anesthesia. During the surgery, the fallopian tubes are cut and sealed or tied and blocked. This helps in preventing the fertilization of eggs by the sperm. The surgery is done with the help of laparoscope and small incisions will be made in the abdomen.
